This project was for the extension to an existing dwelling house for a private client. The property is located within the village of Horncliffe located circa 4 miles from Berwick upon Tweed. The village of Horncliffe lies close to the river Tweed within stunning scenery.

The property is set within a good size plot and large garden so it was important that the proposed reflected this and was connected to this space. The client requested an extra room as well as an en-suite and dressing room, which required the property to be extended. By extending out we were able to create some balance to the original property that had already been previously extended. We felt that a traditional approach externally to this project would be more suitable, this can be seen within the material finish and by reflecting the size and detailing of the openings.
